MP: Governor, CM Mohan Yadav honour teachers, transfer Rs 324 cr to 54 lakh students under uniforms scheme
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 25 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav honoured teachers in the state-level teachers felicitation ceremony organised in the Golden Jubilee Hall of RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration, Bhopal on Friday.
They also transferred Rs 324 crores with a single click in the bank accounts of 54 lakh students of government primary and secondary schools in the state under the Free Uniforms Scheme.
Governor Patel and Chief Minister Yadav honoured 14 teachers selected for the State-level Teacher Award-2024, two teachers who received the National Teacher Award in the year 2023 and the teachers who got first, second and third place in the state level academic seminar, by presenting them shawl-shriphal, citation and honorarium cheque.
Additionally, teachers of CM Rise School Vinova Ratlam, who ranked first in the world in the innovation category by the international organisation T-4 Education, were also honoured on the occasion. Besides, three students and their guide teachers were honoured who hold first, fifth and 31st position in the National INSPIRE Award competition.
In a post on X, CM Yadav wrote, “Today, I participated in the ‘State-level Teacher felicitation Ceremony’ organised in presence of Governor Mangubhai Patel at the Academy of Administration, Bhopal and congratulated the teachers by awarding them.”
“During the program, an amount of Rs 324 crores was transferred to the bank accounts of 54 lakh students for uniforms,” CM further wrote.
Official X handle of Governor of Madhya Pradesh posted, “Governor Mangubhai Patel felicitated the teachers who received the National Teacher Award-2023 and the teachers who received the State-level Teacher Award this year at the State Level Teacher felicitation Program at RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration, Bhopal. He also transferred the amount for school uniforms to bank accounts of students with a single click during the program.”
