MP Jugal Kishore joins flagship outreach campaign at Gole Gujral

JAMMU, Deember 9: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continued its journey across Jammu district and came rolling into panchayat Gole Gujral of block Marh.

 Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma; Block Development Council Chairman, Surinder Kumar and Block Development Officer Marh, Rajesh Kumar graced the occasion.

The van displayed the message of the Prime Minister followed by Viksit Bahrat sankalp (pledge) by PRI representatives and the people of Panchayat Gole Gujral, expressing their solidarity with the vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.

The event commenced with the National Anthem, followed by a cultural extravaganza presented by students from Government Higher School Boys and Girls Gole Gujral. Representatives from the line departments added depth to the event, emphasising the collaborative spirit in government initiatives.

  MP Jugal Kishore Sharma addressed the public, articulating the government’s vision and engaging with beneficiaries of different schemes.  

Simultaneously, the VBSY Van was welcomed at Panchayat Deherian and Budwal in block Khour, spreading the message and vision of the PM .

Block Development Officer Khour and other eminent citizens and officials from line departments joined the reception. The video message of the Prime Minister resonated with the attendees, who took the Sankalp, affirming their commitment to the nation building.

Cultural performances by students of Government Middle School Deherian and Government High School Budwal illuminated the event, capturing the audience’s admiration.

Line department representatives showcased government schemes, distributed informational materials and addressed queries. Free healthcare services under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana were made available and certificates were presented to Progressive Farmers. Additionally, on-the-spot distribution of old age and widow pension sanction letters added a tangible impact to the Yatra’s mission.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continues its journey across District Jammu, covering all 305 gram panchayats and 7 municipalities, with the culmination set for December 24, 2023.
