Mula Ram, Hari Singh express hrief over Martyrdom of Five Army Personnel in Kalakote encounter

Urges Central Govt to give priority to kith & kins of martyrs in armed services

JAMMU, November 24: Senior Congress leaders Mula Ram, former Minister and Hari Singh Chib, JKPCC Vice President today expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of five Army personnel, including two Captains and one JCO, in Kalakote encounter.

In the meeting held here today, Mula Ram described the martyrdom of the five brave soldiers as a “colossal loss” to the nation and the Indian Army. They said that the nation is forever indebted to these bravehearts who have made the ultimate sacrifice to safeguard the sovereignty and integrity of the country.

“The nation is eternally grateful to our valiant soldiers who stand as an impenetrable shield against the forces of terror and aggression. The martyrdom of these five brave soldiers is a stark reminder of the perils faced by our men in uniform who unflinchingly defend our borders,” stated Mula Ram and Hari Singh Chib.

The senior Congress leaders extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the martyrs and assured them of the Congress party’s unwavering support in this time of grief. They urged the government to provide all possible assistance and support to the families of the martyrs and ensure that their sacrifices are never forgotten.

Hari Singh Chib urged the government to provide all possible support to the martyrs’ families and give priority to their kith and kin in the armed services.

He said, “These brave soldiers have laid down their lives for the security and integrity of our nation. It is our duty to ensure that their families are taken care of and their sacrifices are not forgotten.”

The Congress party stands with the bereaved families in this hour of grief and salutes the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation, Chib added.
