MVD conducts vehicle checks, promotes road safety in Reasi

REASI, December 06:  A Team led by ARTO Reasi Tara Mani, conducted an enforcement drive in Reasi town. During the drive the team checked 35 vehicles.

The team conducted a surprise checking on the directions of District Development Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Mahajan.

As many as 12 vehicles were found to be operating in contravention of various provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act and were challaned accordingly.

Later, ARTO Reasi aware driving license seekers participating in the trials are being sensitized about responsible driving practices and the perils of substance abuse.

ARTO Reasi organized an awareness camp focusing on “Nasha Mukt” and road safety initiatives. The camp aims to sensitize participants about the critical role they play in fostering a safe and secure road environment.
