MVD Doda launches cleanliness drive at Paryote Pul Doda
DODA, AUGUST 06: The Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) Doda launched a cleanliness drive at the Fitness Ground in Paryote Pul, Doda. The drive was conducted by vehicle operators under the supervision of ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta. During the event, drivers were made aware of the importance of not throwing waste on roads and were encouraged to keep dustbins in their vehicles.
A pledge was administered at the ground, emphasizing the commitment to cleanliness. The event saw participation from MVD officials, drivers, cleaners, and the public.
This initiative was part of the ongoing celebration of the Swacchta Pakhwada Sangram event, aimed at promoting cleanliness and hygiene.
In addition to the cleanliness activities, discussions were held with the drivers’ community on best practices for maintaining cleanliness in and around their vehicles. They discussed implementing measures like regular vehicle inspections for cleanliness, educating passengers on proper waste disposal, and collaborating with local authorities to install more waste bins along busy routes.
