MVD Doda organises Road Safety Awareness Program at Bereru
DODA, Aug 09: To promote road safety awareness among students, the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) in Doda conducted a special program at GHSS Bereru under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan.
The initiative, titled ‘Meri Mati Mera Dish: Mitti Ko Naman Veeron Ka Vandhan,’ was aligned with the national campaign launched by the Government of India.
During the event, ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, urged students to prioritize adhering to traffic rules and wearing helmets while driving. Students from Government Higher Secondary School Bereru actively participated, engaging in a debate on road safety and presenting slogans and songs related to the national campaign.
To conclude the program, refreshments were provided to the students, and prizes were awarded by the MVD Doda to participants. The event witnessed the presence of MVD Doda’s inspector, the school’s principal, dedicated teaching staff, and enthusiastic students.
