MVD organises free medical camp at Reasi

REASI, January 14: The Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) in Reasi organized a free medical camp and awareness program at Pouni Domail to observe Road Safety Week under Swachhta Pakhwada in collaboration with the Rotary Club Eye Hospital Udhampur.

During the camp, 140 drivers were checked, and five were found to have issues related to low vision and night blindness. They were given spot treatment and advised to return for follow-up.

The Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Rajesh Gupta, reassured the drivers that the Transport Department would organize more such camps in the near future. He emphasized the importance of safety norms while driving on the roads and emphasized the crucial role of drivers in ensuring the safety of precious lives and commuters during the transition period.
