MVD Ramban conducts successful checking on NH-44, 32 vehicles challaned for different offences

In a dedicated effort to enforce road safety and maintain traffic discipline, Team MVD Ramban conducted thorough checking operations on NH-44 at Chanderkote and Karol.

During the operation, 85 vehicles were subjected to scrutiny, resulting in 32 vehicles being challaned or compounded for various offences.

The fines realized from these violations amounted to Rs. 40,000, in a bid to deter errant drivers and ensure safer road conditions.

The Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) Ramban took decisive action to address traffic violations and enhance road safety on the busy NH-44 highway. The checking operation aimed to curtail reckless driving practices and promote responsible behavior among motorists.

The Assistant Regional Transport Officer – Ramban (ARTO-R) played a pivotal role in overseeing the checking operation and ensuring that all necessary legal procedures were followed.
