MVD Ramban launches major crackdown on Traffic Rule violators, recovers Rs. 22,000 fine

RAMBAN, February 08: Motor Vehicles Department, Ramban intensified its drive against violation of Motor Vehicle Act and other traffic rules especially over-speeding, over-loading, non use of seat belt and affixation of High-Security Registration Plates (HSRP) besides speed governance fitment.

The Enforcement team of MVD and Traffic Police conducted physical checking of vehicles on NH-44 at different locations, including the Chanderkote area.

The Enforcement team led by Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Ramban, Samrinder Singh checked more than 52 vehicles and challaned 15 for different violations of the Motor Vehicle Act and imposed a fine of nearly Rs. 22,000 on the violators during checking.
