Nari Shaki Vandan Run: Modi has given a new dimension to Women empowerment says Sanjita Dogra

Jammu : In nine years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has placed special emphasis on Nari Shakti (Women Empowerment) and today, women are at the forefront of the country’s development journey.

Recognizing Nari Shakti, JKUT Pradesh BJP Mahila Morcha organized a Marathon named ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Marathon: Run For Nation, Run For Modi” on Monday.

Other than women leaders of the party, National Vice President and Prabhari JKUT Varinder Kour Thandi, senior party leaders former minister Priya Sethi, District president Jammu Pramod Kapahi ,State Secty and Mahila Morcha Seh Prabhari Veenu Khanna , students etc. took part in the run that commenced from the Mubarak Mandi Main Gate near Dewan Badri nath  School and traversed several routes of the city .

Priya Sethi former minister in her words highlighted various steps taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi since assuming office in 2014 including promotion of girls’ education, various schemes and provision of loans to become self-reliant among others.

National Vice President and JKUT Prabhari Mahila Morcha said that “From this run we will  ensure that Narendra Modi is elected as the Prime Minister for yet another term for holding on to the developmental pace”.

Speaking to the reporters, women leader Sanjita Dogra said, “This is a historic run and along with the entire nation, JKUT BJP is also organizing it. From the Marathon we want to inform the women across the state about the steps Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken towards the overall development of women, their safety, security and most importantly empowerment”.
