Baru starts Blacktopping of ramp and main lane at Paloura market

JAMMU, 29 September: Senior BJP leader and Councillor ward-41 Sanjay Kumar Baru accompanied by Talab Tillo BJP mandal President Keshav Chopra, JMC(Works) JE Shabab Malik and local BJP local leaders started the work of black topping of ramp and main lane at Paloura market opposite BSF HQ, Paloura.

Inaugurating the blacktopping work, Sanjay Kumar Baru said that the concerned main road was damaged at different places. He stressed that the ramp connecting the market with Jammu-Akhnoor main road was left without blacktopping by National Highway Authorities, which was causing major hardship for the locals and the commuters, also causing various accidents every day. He said that as a responsible public representative, he highlighted the issues on several occasions, but the efforts went in vain.

Baru, expressed pleasure that after a quite lapse of time, the ramp is being blacktopped now, which will provide relief to the locals, passersby and the vehicles.

Black topping work of the road initiated by Jammu Municipal Corporation with the estimated cost of 5 lakhs, he added.

Baru also spoke on the splendid works of Modi government and said that during the past nine years many historic decisions have been taken, which reflects the concern of the government for justice to all and appeasement to none. The programmes and policies of this government has made people realize that nation is safe, fast moving on the path of progress and prosperity and this reality stands acknowledged even by many developed countries of the world.

Keshav Chopra on the occasion said that ward-41 is fast getting developed as “Model Ward”. He also appreciated the good work being done by the local councillor in the ward, adding that every nook and corner is taken care in all matters.
