National Conference and Omar Abdullah failed to fulfill their election promises: Pawan Sharma
JAMMU, December 25: BJP Senior leader and Prabhari for District Doda, Pawan Sharma, has strongly condemned the National Conference and its leader Omar Abdullah for violating the public’s trust by failing to fulfill their election promises.
Sharma observed that the Omar Abdullah-led government is attempting to redirect public attention from its shortcomings by engaging in what he termed as a “fixed match” or Noora Kushti. He alleged that the National Conference leadership is resorting to gimmicks to mislead the public and conceal their inability to deliver on critical promises, including free electricity, additional ration, employment opportunities, confirmation of daily wagers, and affordable gas cylinders.
He further alleged that the party’s MP is misleading the unemployed youth by creating confusion around the sensitive issue of reservations. Sharma urged the youth to reject such divisive tactics and focus on constructive pathways for progress.
“The BJP will not allow Omar Abdullah or his party to avoid accountability for their unfulfilled commitments. They owe a justification to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, and we will ensure that they are held accountable,” he asserted.
Sharma reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to transparency, development and the welfare of every citizen in Jammu and Kashmir.
