National Gender Campaign held at Nyoma sub-division

Leh, Dec 13: Under the aegis of the month-long National Gender Campaign 2022, an awareness campaign on ‘Elimination of Gender-based Violence’ was conducted successfully at Nyoma sub-division today.

Councillor Nyoma, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Block Development Officer and Block Medical Officer Nyoma along with officers/officials from line departments like ICDS, Police, Social Welfare, Health, Legal Services, and others spoke on the agenda.

PRI members, Ama Tsogspas, Students of Higher Secondary School Nyoma, and a large number of villagers from all panchayats of Nyoma and Mudh attended the awareness program.

A health mela was also conducted by Primary Health Centre Nyoma as a part of the awareness campaign.
