National Girl Child Day held at ICDS Project Khaltse

Leh, Jan 24, 2024: Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) Project Khaltse celebrated ‘National Girl Child Day’ today on January 24 at Khaltse.

On the occasion, Child Development Project Officer, Khaltse, Shakila Bano and Block Medical Officer, Khaltse Dr. Yangchan Dolma briefed about importance of day with the theme, “Empower Girl Empower Society” to the participants.

Also, the ‘National Girl Child Day’ pledge was taken by the participants.

Besides, Field Assistant, Leela Bano, officials from Agriculture Department Khaltse; Supervisors; Anganwadi Workers and helpers of Khaltse village and girl student of Higher Secondary School Khaltse and Hr. Sec. School Skurbuchan participated in the event.
