National Girl Child Day held at Tangtse

Leh, Jan : National Girl Child Day celebrated in the Auditorium Hall of Primary Healthcare Centre at Tangtse on January 24.

The event highlighted various issues regarding Girls Child and the measures taken by the Government to address the issues.

During the event, discussion took place on the various government scheme related to their nutrition, health and education such as Supplementary Nutrition Program (SNP), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJSY) ,Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK),Prime Minister Overarching Scheme For Holistic Nourishment (POSHAN), Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY).

Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Durbuk presided over the function.

Department of Health, Poshan, Education, RDD, Child Development Project Officer, Durbuk; Block Development Officer, Durbuk; Incharge Block Medical Officer, Durbuk participated in the event.
