National Workshop on CSR Activities for Educational Enrichment of Students organized at SMVDU

Katra, November 18: The School of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) successfully organized a National Workshop on CSR Activities for Educational Enrichment of Students. The workshop aimed to explore strategies for utilizing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes for students.

 The keynote session was delivered by Mr. Gaurav Bali, a distinguished corporate trainer from Lovely Professional University (LPU), who shared invaluable insights into the role of CSR in transforming education. He was accompanied by Mr. Varun, also from LPU, whose inputsadded depth to the discussion.

Their dynamic and thought-provoking session was highly appreciated by the audience. The event witnessed participation from over 150 students, creating an interactive platform for learning and collaboration. The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Anil Kumar Bhardwaj and Dr. Vikram Singh, with Dr. Vijay Kumar Sharma and Dr. Purnima Hazra serving as co-coordinators. The organizing secretary, Dr. Manish Sabraj, and the team ensured the event’s seamless execution. Although Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Pragati Kumar and Registrar JKAS Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma could not attend the event, the organizing team acknowledged their ongoing support and   guidance, which was instrumental in the success of the program.

The workshop provided students with a unique opportunity to interact with experts and gain practical insights into implementing CSR initiatives for educational enrichment. The session fostered meaningful discussions, leaving attendees inspired and motivated to bring about positive change.
