National Youth Day Activities at GDCW Kathua

KATHUA, January 12: GDCW Kathua’s NSS Unit marked National Youth Day with fervor and intellectual engagement. Dr. Ritu Kumar Sharma, NSS Program Officer, delivered an insightful lecture on the life and history of Swami Vivekananda, attended by 50 enthusiastic volunteers.

The Red Ribbon Club orchestrated a touching tribute, with volunteers paying floral respects to Swami Vivekananda. This was followed by a lively group discussion where volunteers delved into the profound impact of Swami Vivekananda’s life.

In a collaborative effort, both NSS and Red Ribbon Club volunteers united to witness a live streaming of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s speech at the National Youth Festival, fostering a sense of national unity and purpose.

These impactful activities were conducted under the able patronage of Dr. Savi Behl, the esteemed Principal of the college, who played a pivotal role in orchestrating a memorable National Youth Day celebration at GDCW Kathua.
