NC accuses BJP of cheating J&K youth
Govt plunged every section of society into miseries: Wazir, Lochan
JAMMU, JAN 3: J&K National Conference today slammed the BJP Government at the Centre for not having any policy for youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
While addressing a meeting here today, Sandeep Singh Wazir, Zonal Youth President NC said that there is uncertainty prevailing in the state and the youth is feeling cheated and betrayed by the policies of Bharatiya Janata Party. He pointed out that despite the fact that thousands of youths in J&K are getting professional degrees and diplomas every year there is no concrete policy from the government for their absorption in the government sector. He said that the youth of J&K has feeling cheated due to hollow policies of BJP leadership since the abrogation of Art 370 from the state.
Wazir said that government is not having any policy in its hand for unemployed youth who are facing problems in jobs and daily needs. “BJP has betrayed the youth as well as people of Jammu and Kashmir”, he said, asking the party cadre to strengthen the party at grass roots level.
Pertinent to mention that today public meeting was organized by Davinder Singh District Vice President and Tarsem Lal District Joint Sectary at Chatha Pind in which Sandeep Singh Wazir and Vijay Lochan, Provincial President SC Cell listened to the problems of people of the area. Depinder Kour Ex MLC, Ranjeet Kour District President Women Wing and Parvinder Singh Block President were also present.
Vijay Lochan, Provincial President SC Cell, JKNC, in his address, castigated the present government for plunging every section of the society into miseries due to its totally hollow policies. He accused the J&K administration of adopting a callous attitude towards the Schedule Caste community besides other reserved categories. He said that every section of the society is overburdened with the heavy load of hardships that have resulted due to the hollow policies of the incumbent government. He said that people residing in urban areas are crying for the very basic necessity i.e. drinking water, the scarcity of which has hit almost every urban area not to talk of the rural areas.
Lochan asked the party workers to remain present among the people at the grass roots level and address their day to day problems. He asked them to make people aware about the achievements of the party especially during the NC regime in the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir.
Devinder Singh and Tarsem Lal assured the senior functionaries of taking the achievements and policy programmes of the party to the people at grass roots level.
In the meeting, S. Satpal Singh was nominated as Block President Satwari SC Cell, Bishan Lal Block Secretary SC Cell and Pawan Kumar Block Joint Secretary. Among those who were present include Sukhwant Kour, Sonia Kour, Rajinder Singh, Rinku Singh and others.
