NC almost formed govt with BJP in 2014 claims Junaid Azim Mattu

Former Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu claimed that National Conference almost formed government with BJP after Assembly election in 2014. Taking to X, Mattu posted, that the alliance could not formed as Aga Syed Ruhullah wrote a letter to JKNC Vice president Omar Abdullah aganist the alliance.

In 2014, NC had almost decided to go with the BJP.

The wrench in the wheel was thrown by Aga Syed Ruhullah who wrote a very strongly worded letter to Omar Abdullah warning against this alliance.

This letter was written while talks were ongoing between NC and BJP in Delhi.
