NCC Cadets host Awareness Session on electoral participation at GHSS Durang

KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 11: An engaging SVEEP awareness session on Electoral Participation was held today at GHSS Durang under the guidance of ANO NCC Ajay Sharma.

The event targeted to promote voter awareness and encourage active electoral participation among students and the local community.

The session witnessed the enthusiastic involvement of approximately 250 participants, including students, staff, and local residents.

Highlights of the event included a painting competition and a rally conducted by the NCC Cadets, which helped spread the message of the importance of voting and civic responsibility.

The School Principal Yash Paul Gupta delivered an insightful lecture on electoral participation, emphasizing the power of each vote in shaping the future of the nation. His address motivated students to exercise their right to vote conscientiously in the upcoming elections and to inspire their families and peers to do the same.

The event was attended by AC Nodal Officer SVEEP for 64-Billawar Mohinder Gupta.

The programme concluded with a rally led by the NCC Cadets, which traversed through key areas of the locality, further spreading the message of the significance of every vote in a democracy.
