NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers of GCW Parade take out Anti Drug Rally
JAMMU, APRIL 12: NCC cadets of 2 J&K Girls Battalion along with NSS volunteers of Government College for Women, Parade Ground Jammu, in collaboration with J&K Nationalist People’s Front Jammu Province, today took out an Anti-Drug awareness rally under G20 campaign.
The rally started from Shaheedi Chowk and culminated at Dogra Chowk.
The theme was to “Share Facts on Drugs and Save Lives.” The rally aimed at making India a drug free country and to educate the youth not to indulge in egregious habits.
Around 50 NSS volunteers and an equal number of NCC cadets participated in the rally enthusiastically to promote the campaign for ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat.’
The program was a great success under the supervision and guidance of Principal, Dr. S.P Sarswat along with ANO Lt. Suman Lata (NCC wing) and NSS Programme Officers, Dr. Mohammad Majeed and Dr. Gurpreet Kour.
