‘Need to consolidate nationalist, socialist & secular forces’

Rampaul urges voters to support INDIA Bloc candidates in LS elections.

Jammu:15-04-24: In view of the forthcoming General Elections 2024, the Central Zone of JKNC has appealed to the voters of J&K to exercise their franchise in a wise manner so as to elect a Government at Centre which will work for overall betterment of the country, in general, and society, in particular.

In a message to people, President of JKNC Central Zone and former Minister, Babu Rampaul said, “There is a need to consolidate nationalist forces which uphold the idea of pluralistic society. Which have the ability to keep the nation together and not like the present dispensation which is dividing people in the name of religion/caste/creed etc.”

He further appealed to people to strengthen the socialist forces which could ensure the equitable development of each and every section of the society and not the one like the BJP which worked on the agenda to benefit only the selected class of rich people.

He said, “There is an urgent need to strengthen the forces which are saviour of democratic and secular tradition in India as there is an apprehension among the large number of people in India that BJP is going to change the Constitution, if it is elected to power this time.”

He asked the people to understand the ideology of present dispensation at Centre, which was hell bent to destroy the democratic values and did not hesitate to amend the Constitution as per their whims and fancies.

Babu Rampaul also expressed strong resentment against the alarming rate of unemployment in India. He asserted that the BJP led government at Centre disappointed the people with their anti-youth approach but now people have got the opportunity to uproot the BJP from Centre and elect the government which was capable of tackling the crisis of unemployment.

On behalf of JKNC Central Zone unit, he appealed to the voters to come out in large numbers to exercise their franchise and extend their support to candidates of INDIA Bloc namely Ch. Lal Singh, who is contesting from Udhampur-Doda Constituency and Raman Bhalla, who is candidate from Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary Constituency.

He urged the voters to put their weight behind INDIA Bloc candidates so as to save democracy and uphold the secular and socialist values of India.
