New District Committee meets with delagates from Trans Singey Lalok Area

Leh, November 18: The New District Committee convened a meeting with delegates from Trans Singey Lalok area at DC Office Conference Hall today. The meeting was chaired by Sh. Pramod Kumar Jain, IAS (Retd.) alongside members Sh. Kacho Asfandyar Khan, IAS (Retd.), Sh. Tsering Angchok, IAS (Retd.), and the Deputy Commissioner Leh Santosh Sukhadeve (ex-officio).

During the meeting, representatives from Trans Singey Lalok Area presented their view and expressed their wish to be a part of Leh District. They cited the distance of the region via Nimo-Padum-Darcha road to Leh as one of the most crucial point to be with Leh District. They informed that the decision has been taken with due consideration from all the people of all villages in the Trans Singay Lalok region.

Chairman NDC Pramod Jain assured the delegates that their recommendation will be noted and assessed rationally.  The meeting was attended by Chairman Trans Singay Lalok Area Committee Konchok Nurboo, members -Tashi Dorjey, Lobzang Targais, Gurmat Namgyal, Chemat and various other delegates from Trans Singay Lalok region.
