Newly constructed Anganwadi Centre inaugurated at Stakna Village

Leh, August 22: A newly constructed Anganwadi Centre under Special Development Package (SDP) was inaugurated at Stakna village today.

The inauguration was done by Executive Councillor, Stanzin Chosphel in presence of Director, Social Welfare Department, Tashi Dolma; and CDPO Kharu, Sonam Nilza.

Speaking on the occasion, EC Stanzin Chosphel appreciated the architecture of the building and expressed that the building is the first infrastructure to be constructed under SDP. He further urged the people to send their children to the centre and avail the benefits.

He also assured to provide Polygreen house to the people for Poshan Vatika.

Director, Tashi Dolma expressed her happiness over the construction of the building and encouraged the villages to send their children to the Anganwadi Centre to avail the benefits and for overall development.

The occasion also saw the presence of Sarpanch, Contractors, parents and children.
