Nodal officers should ensure effective saturation of public welfare schemes during Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra: Sham

JAMMU, December 07: Designated Nodal officers and other concerned officials should make dedicated efforts to achieve hundred percent saturation in the public welfare schemes, Sham Lal Sharma, Vice-President Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, said this  while he appreciated the decision to undertake “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government.

Sham Lal Sharma said that the Modi government has taken a nationwide campaign to raise awareness for the public welfare schemes under the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra”, which will ensure more reach of such schemes to the needy. However, at the same time, he emphasized that the effort will not yield full results unless the entire involved government machinery puts dedicated and collaborative efforts involving all the segments of the society as well to reach every needy person in society.

Former Minister & J&K BJP Vice-President Sham Lal Sharma and former JMC Mayor & J&K BJP Vice-President Chander Mohan Gupta accompanied by party secretary Vikas Choudhary and Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan BJP Incharge Dil Bahadur Jamwal listened to a number of grievances put forth by visiting individuals and deputations at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Individuals and deputations of people from various areas of Jammu & Kashmir like Budgam Srinagar, Talab Tillo, RS Pura, Samba, Subhash Nagar, Manohrama Vihar, Bishnah, New Plots, Paddu Kathua, Handwara Kupwara Srinagar, Uri Baramulla, Arnia, Ploura Bohri, Nowshera, Ware House Jammu had reached Trikuta Nagar office to meet these leaders with their grievances.

Issues related to the shifting of relief office from residential area, JDA land issue, installation of transformer, old age pension, promotion, subsidy, repair of lanes/drains, EWS certificate, realignment of PHE pipe from fields, construction of link road at Arnia, repairing of hand pumps, repairing of tube wells etc. were presented before the senior party leaders.

Chander Mohan Gupta said that the BJP leaders make sincere efforts to sort out the issues presented by the people by taking them up at the appropriate platforms. He added that the public grievances camp is proving to be of major help in solving the day-to-day issues of people of the UT.

Vikas Choudhary said that the senior BJP leaders patiently listen to the problems presented by the people, which are then taken up with the concerned officials stressing for early resolution.

Dil Bahadur Jamwal said that dozens of deputations visited the BJP office to present their issues. He informed that many of the presented issues were resolved providing relief to the public.
