Notorious Drug smuggler arrested with contraband substances & cash in Uri: Baramulla Police

BARAMULLA July 25: In a major breakthrough for law enforcement, Mohammad Sharief, one of the most wanted and notorious drug smugglers in Hathlanga Uri was arrested. The operation was carried out during a routine naka checking at Uri, where authorities discovered approximately 276 grams of a substance resembling heroin. Additionally, a sum of ₹10,000 in cash was seized from Sharief during the arrest.

A case has been registered under the relevant section at the concerned police station and further investigation has been initiated.
