NRLM Anantnag organized Bankers workshop at Dooru

ANANTNAG, JANUARY 17: The National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) Block Dooru (UMEED) today organized a Bankers Workshop in collaboration with Lead District Manager J&K Bank at Dooru Block, here.

The aim of the workshop was to sensitize the bankers and the community for proper implementation of the programme and offer an opportunity for direct interaction between bankers and SHG members.

On the occasion, Block Programme Manager NRLM presented an overview of activities, approach and achievements of UMEED, particularly in the area of financial inclusion.

During the workshop the participants were informed about different schemes and loans being provided by banks.

The officers in the camp also stressed on financial awareness and basic banking facilities for the educated unemployed youth of the district.

DPM FI, Sakib Shafi, District Mission Management Unit NRLM Anantnag, BPM Dooru, Lead Bank Manager (incharge) Lead bank officials, concerned Branch Managers from J&K Bank and SHG members were also present in the workshop.
