NRLM organises 290 Awareness camps on Drug Abuse at Anantnag

3400 SHG members participated in the camps

ANANTNAG, February 28: Continuing its efforts to spread the awareness among general public particularly among members of Self Help Groups regarding the ill effects of drug menace – eradication of this social evil, campaigns like Anti-drug -Nasha Mukht Bharat, say yes to life, no to drugs etc, the NRLM Anantnag has organised 290 camps/awareness programs across the district during February 2023 Month.

Morethan 3400 SHG members, PRI’s, etc participated in these programmes.

The focus areas of these camps remained Awareness generation among the general public about the ill effects of drug abuse, campaigns like Anti-drug -Nasha Mukht Bharat, say yes to life, no to drugs etc harmful effects of drug menace on society, identification, treatment and rehabilitation of drug addict persons.

These camps were organised across district Anantnag at Village Organisations, Cluster level Federations and JKRLM Block Training Centres which include Khoveripora, Pahalgam, Achabal, Shangus, Chittergul, Qazigund, Larkipora, Dooru, Breng, Sagam, Larnoo, Srigufwara, Ranipora, Veesu, Hiller Shahabad etc.
