NSS SMVDU Organized a Creative Session to Express Gratitude towards Parents
REASI, April 03: The National Service Scheme (NSS) successfully organized the heartfelt event ‘Grateful Hearts, Loving Hands’, where 80 enthusiastic participants came together to express their love and appreciation for their parents. The event aimed to recognize and honor the relentless efforts of parents by encouraging students to create personalized gratitude cards. Participants poured their emotions into beautifully crafted cards, using colors, heartfelt messages, and creative designs to express their deep appreciation.

The event fostered a sense of gratitude and strengthened the bond between children and their parents. Speaking about the initiative, Abikash Gupta and Kriti Mahajan came up with this idea to help students recognize the efforts done by parents. NSS coordinator, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, mentioned that , “In today’s fast-paced world, we often forget to acknowledge the sacrifices our parents make for us. This event was a small but meaningful effort to remind students of the importance of expressing gratitude.” The event concluded with participants sharing their experiences and emotions, making it a truly touching and memorable occasion. NSS continues to promote such initiatives that inspire kindness, appreciation, and social awareness among students. Our other volunteers Mudit Sharma and Rishiv Bhargav also helped in coordinating the event.
