NSS SMVDU organized wall painting for beautification of University surroundings

JAMMU, 19 Sept: NSS SMVDU Katra volunteers organized a wall painting event to beautify University surroundings. The wall painting work was carried out on a long wall outside the main gate of the University.  More than 20 NSS volunteers worked enthusiastically for the beautification of the area. Firstly, whitewash was done on the whole wall area. Then, the drawing work was carried out by the volunteers. Afterwards, painting with different colors was carried out.

Themes based paintings were drawn by the volunteers.  The theme was based on different kinds of wheels. A Wheel is the symbol of progress for a society or nation. NSS student coordinators Sadhvi Sharma and Abhishek Sharma coordinated the whole event. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Pragati Kumar appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers for organizing the event.
