NSS Unit of GDC Marheen Organized plantation drive in New College site

Kathua:- Under the banner of Swachhata Pakhwada, the NSS Unit GDC Marheen carried out a plantation drive in the New College site. The drive was conducted under the supervision of Prof (Dr) Anupama Gupta, esteemed Principal of the college. While speaking on the occasion, Principal of the college raised awareness among the students and highlighted the purpose of plantation drive that it combats many environmental problems like global warming, soil erosion, pollution, as well as enhancing the beauty and balance of the environment. 

The event was organized under the supervision of Dr. Arun Dev Singh (NSS, PO) and Dr Shallu Rani of GDC Marheen. A large number of Volunteers participated in the event.  Sh. Neeraj, Sh. Yash Pal, Sh. Bishan Dass  also joined the drive.
