Nyoma BDO leads cleanliness drive for water conservation in Ladakh

Nyoma, March 22: On the occasion of World Water Day, the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Nyoma organized a cleanliness drive around local water bodies, including ponds and streams. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with school students, staff, and village volunteers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining clean and sustainable water sources.

During the event, the BDO addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of water conservation and the need to protect natural water resources and also raised awareness about waterborne diseases and the crucial role of hygiene in preventing them.
