Job applications for all government exams free: Ankush, Dr Vikas

Jammu:19-09-24: Intensifying campaign for party candidate in Jammu North Assembly constituency, Provincial Joint Secretary JKNC, Ankush Abrol today launched a scathing attack on BJP for its failure in mitigating the sufferings of youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a meeting, Provincial Joint Secretary JKNC, Ankush Abrol flanked by Dr Vikas Sharma, Coordinator Jammu District and Secretary Central Zone JKNC, said, “The commitment is expected to resonate with thousands of workers who have been seeking job security and stability.

Abrol said, “NC has committed to providing one lakh jobs for the youth across various sectors. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce unemployment and provide much-needed opportunities for the younger population.”

He further said that within the first three months of taking office, the government will pass the Jammu and Kashmir Youth Employment Generation Act. This legislation will focus on creating sustainable employment opportunities and is seen as a major step toward securing the future of the region’s youth, he added.

In a move to ensure efficient governance, the NC government would fill all vacancies in government departments within 180 days. Additionally, policies will be introduced to ensure that future vacancies are filled promptly, reducing delays and improving the delivery of public services, Abrol elaborated.

He urged the voters not to get swayed by the fake narratives being spread by BJP and vote for their peace and prosperity that can be guaranteed only by JKNC.

Also speaking, Dr Vikas Sharma stated that in a bid to remove barriers to employment, the NC govt would make job applications for all government exams free. This decision is expected to provide financial relief to thousands of job seekers across the region.

Further elaborating the party election manifesto for youth, he said the job package would include incentive-linked jobs under the start-up scheme, encouraging young entrepreneurs to launch their own businesses. This move will be aimed at fostering a culture of innovation and self-employment in Jammu and Kashmir.

He stated that NC, if elected to power, will target the energy sector for job creation. Through facilitation and incentives, mini hydropower generation projects, including solar power initiatives, will be developed, providing employment opportunities and contributing to the region’s energy independence, he elaborated.

This comprehensive job package reflects the NC’s commitment to addressing the pressing issue of unemployment and creating a brighter future for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, he concluded.
