OSC Women Ramban meets Domestic Violence Victims Virtually
RAMBAN, JULY 19: Implementing the directives issued by Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Ramban, Rahul Gupta, conducted a virtual meeting today with domestic violence victims of the district. The session, focusing on the center’s services, was moderated by Central Administrator of One Stop Centre (OSC) Women Ramban, Ms. Sumaira Jan.
The Nodal Officer for OSC Women Ramban emphasized community involvement in spreading awareness about the OSC. He encouraged beneficiaries to volunteer and advocate for the OSC in their localities, stating, “The victim is just one call away from receiving aid.” He assured that the OSC provides comprehensive support, including psycho-social counseling and legal aid.
Highlighting the efforts of the DC Ramban, the DSWO emphasized that no one in need should be left unattended. The OSC is conducting mission-mode awareness campaigns both online and offline to reach as many people as possible.
The meeting underscored the department’s dedication to providing a supportive environment for domestic violence victims. Participants appreciated the initiatives and pledged to help raise awareness about OSC’s services.
