Paharis’ justified demand is acknowledged: BJP

RAJOURI, July 27: Mohd. Iqbal Malik, senior BJP leader and DDC Member Darhal (Rajouri) congratulated the Pahari Tribals on induction of Bill in Lok Sabha granting Scheduled Tribe (ST) status, which will include the Pahari ethical group in the desired Schedule.

“A long standing justified demand of Paharis’ is acknowledged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi government”, BJP leader said.

Mohd. Iqbal Malik, along with Gulzar Ahmad Qureshi, District President Minority Morcha Kazamt Malik, Co-Convenor Pahari Cell Poonch Saleem Manhas, District Spokesperson Rajouri Arsalan Malik was addressing a Press Conference at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

While addressing the media persons, Iqbal congratulated the Pahari Tribals for inclusion in Schedule of Tribe.  Has also congratulated  Bakerwals and Gujjar tribe as their quota remaining in fact on their major demand fulfilled.

Iqbal Malik along with others, thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President J.P. Nadda and BJP State President Ravinder Raina for ensuring the justice to the deserved group.

He, on the occasion, also appealed to all the communities to promote peace and brotherhood among various communities.

He articulated that whole Pahari tribe will remain thankful to the BJP in all the times to come and whole of the tribe will remember the landmark decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
