SRINAGAR October 10:- Portraying a resounding testament to unity and patriotism among the people, several programmes were held in Panchayat Blocks of Srinagar District here today to mark the 2nd Phase of “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign with Amrit Kakash Yatra , celebrating India’s 75th year of Independence.

The Programmes were held on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad by Rural Development Department at Nayabat Office Harwan.

The event witnessed soil collection and tribute paying to brave hearts in the presence of BDC, DDC and PRI members of the District and other large number of local people.
