Peddler held with Heroin in Jammu’s Bishnah

JAMMU, 17 January 2024: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 6 grams of Heroin from one accused person in the area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bishnah.

A police team of PS Bishnah led by SHO PS Bishnah while on naka duty at Sikanderpur Kothey area under the jurisdiction of PS Bishnah rounded up a suspected person later identified as Lakath Ali @Gajja s/o Hussain Mir R/o Sikanderpur Kothey, Tehsil Bishnah Distt.Jammu. On search, 06 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.

In this regard a Case FIR No.07/2024 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act got registered in PS Bishnah and the accused got arrested.

Further investigation of the case is going on.
