“People don’t have any faith in them,” says Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai while criticizing Congress
Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], May 29 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vishnu Deo Sai criticised Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi for her comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which she accused him of asking the public to vote in the name of Gods and Goddesses.
Sai also informed the media about his upcoming rallies in Jharkhand, focusing on the Dumka and Rajmahal Lok Sabha constituencies.
In a media briefing, Chief Minister Sai stated, “Today I am heading to Jharkhand to address three rallies on the Lok Sabha seat of Dumka and Rajmahal; two in Rajmahal and one in Dumka.
Condemning Priyanka Gandhi over her remarks on PM Narendra Modi asking the public to vote in the name of Gods and Goddesses, the BJP leader said, “People don’t have any faith in them. They have completely lost the trust of the people.”
Earlier, on Monday, while addressing a rally in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has nothing to show for the work they did in the last 10 years of their tenure, adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is asking the public to vote for his party in the name of Gods and Goddesses.
Addressing an election rally in Kangra, Priyanka Gandhi said, “The BJP tries to topple the elected government with its money power. MLAs were being lured with Rs 100 crore offers each. The Prime Minister of the country has the responsibility of maintaining democracy and building morality. PM Modi asks for votes in the name of Gods and Goddesses.”
The election for 543 Lok Sabha seats is being held in seven phases starting April 19. The counting of the votes will be held on June 4.
