People fed-up with BJP’s misrule, craving for change: Uday Chib
JAMMU: Uday Bhanu Chib, National General Secretary of Indian Youth Congress, today said that people of Jammu and Kashmir and elsewhere are fed-up with lies-riddle policies and misrule of BJP and longing for a change. Addressing the meeting organized by Karan Sharma, President Youth Congress at Ward No 36 in Jammu North Assembly segment, the senior Congress leader said that the BJP leadership is only proficient in selling lies which it did very well in J&K also. He said that problems which the people of trouble-torn J&K were facing since long, have been increased manifold under the BJP Government with no respite coming to sight in near future.
He said that his sole aim is to accomplish the mission set in by the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in providing succour to masses by way of rendering selfless service and highlighting the misdeeds of ruling party at the Centre. He said issues which the common man is confronting right now are mainly due to BJP’s thoughtless push to directionless policies.
“Unprecedented hike in fuel prices, ruthless farm bills, inflation touching new heights, democratic institutions facing threat, and what not”, he said is the gift of BJP to people, adding that it was Rahul Gandhi who raised these issues vociferously and forced ruling party to go on back foot many times. Uday asserted that not only J&K but other States across the country are also yearning for the change as BJP has done nothing on ground except crafting new ‘Jumlas’ on all the issues which concern common man. He emphasized that Congress being a party of principles is all set to shine in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and will form Government at the Centre.
Among those who were present include Harjeet Singh Bagi, Vice President DCC Jammu Urban, Surinder Kumar Vice Chairman SC Cell JKPCC, Deepanshu IYC National Spokesperson, Rushu President Ward 37, Madan Singh Chib, Tarun Vaid and others.
