BJP holds District working committee meet in Kupwara

Kupwara February 7Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir conducted day-long Working Committee meeting of District Kupwara at TRC Handwara.

J&K BJP General Secretary Sunil Sharma chiefly addressed the working committee meeting of Kupwara District. District Prabhari Kupwara Anwar Khan, BJP District President Abdul Rehman Lone and other party leaders also addressed the meeting.

The working committee meeting was held as per the party protocol, “The way it is being organized at national or state level, the purpose of this meeting was to get the feedback from all constituencies so as to see where the party stand does so far as work done is concerned.  Discussed the ways to strengthen the booths and urged the karyakartas to work round the clock for the service of the society.

Sunil Sharma, while addressing the party workers exhorted upon them to work at the ground level to know the emotions and the aspirations of the common people. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Union Government has taken exhaustive steps to welcome the peace and the progress in Kashmir.

“People in Kashmir have embraced BJP’s development politics. They have embraced policies of Modi government by their hearts. Prominent leaders and social activities are joining BJP to serve the society and the nation. We only need to approach them and the whole society will welcome us. This all is possible due to our strong love for people and faith in democracy. This working committee will train us to do this job efficiently”, said Sunil Sharma.

Anwar Khan informed the party workers about the key highlights of the budget and asked them to  inform the people about the benefits of the new budget besides informing them about various welfare schemes launched by the prime minister for the benefit of the people. He also shared the details of the the forthcoming party programmes and asked the workers to stay connected to the people.

The meeting started with Welcome address by District President, in which Abdul Rehman Lone informed the senior party leadership about the initiatives taken by the BJP leaders at the District and the Mandal level to remain in unison with the locals. He also shared the information about the organizational programmes scheduled by the party leaders in the District.

Political Resolution was also presented in the meeting and Union budget 2023-24 was discussed threadbare.

Senior Leader Shabeer Zargar, Gh Mohd Hajam, Mir Basharat, Pir Iqbal, Sheikh Javid , Wani Zubair, and other office Bearers District Vice Presidents Sartaj Majeed and Javid Ahmad Qureshi, District Gen Secretaries Zahoor Ahmad Lone and Chowdhary Mushtaq, All Morcha District Presidents Javid Ahmad Mir, Mohd Sideeq Gujjar, Showkat Ahmad , Gh Rasool BJYM, District Secretary Including Gulzar Malik and Others, All Constituency presidents including Lone Mumtaz, Gh Hassan, Javid Ahmad Being and others were amongst the prominent to participate in the meeting.
