People’s old demand to open Bohri Chowk will be fulfilled soon: Baru

JAMMU, March 20: People’s old demand to open the Bohri Chowk and widening of main Hazuri Bagh road will be fulfilled soon, stated BJP senior leader and JMC Councillor Sanjay Kumar Baru.

Sanjay Kumar Baru was interacting with the locals during the tour of the area along with director Jammu Smart City Er. Sham Kapoor, AEE Ravi Salgotra, BJP Ward President Ashok Wazir, BJP leaders Jatin Sethi and Brijesh Gupta in Ward no.41

Sanjay Baru, along with other interacted with the locals and inquired about the ongoing construction work. He said that with the completion of the Nallah work, the vicious cycle of filth and the breeding ground for the communicable diseases due to the collection of the dirty water because of absent drainage system would be tackled.

Sanjay Baru, while addressing the locals said that soon after the Nallah construction work is finished, the early Macadamization of the road would also take place. The process for the same has been initiated, he said and added that under the Modi government, the long pending public issues are being addressed as per the aspirations of people.

Sanjay Baru also disclosed that as per the demand and the aspiration of the local people, the Bohri Chowk would soon get a makeover. He said that the Chowk will be decongested and will be opened up soon for the ease of the locals and the commuters.

President BSA Sahwney, Payare Lal Mawa, Bubesh Sharma, Ashish Mangotra, Bachan Bhagat, Sanjay Sharma, Thoru Ram, S.Parshotam Singh and others accompanied Baru during the tour.
