Placement Drive for ITI pass-outs held at ITI Udhampur
UDHAMPUR, MAY 26: A mega placement drive was today held in Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Udhampur where ITC Ltd evaluated the over 100 trainees drawn from different Institutes of Udhampur, Ramban, and Reasi Districts.
Trainees of different trades like, Electrician, MMV, ICT & ESM, RAC participated in the placement drive held in collaboration with Government ITI Udhampur under the aegis of Directorate of Skill Development J&K Jammu.
The pass out Trainees were drawn from ITI Ramban, ITI Reasi, and other ITIs.
Resource persons from ITC, Ajay Sharma, Assistant Manager (HR), ITC, Rajesh Kumar Technical Associate Mechanical ITC, Avinash Technical Associate Electrical ITC conducted the Evaluation process of the participants by conducting written test/Viva.
Er. Ravinder Singh Bhatti, Superintendent Govt. ITI Udhampur, while appreciating the initiative taken by the management of the ITC to conduct placement drives at Government ITI Udhampur, urged it to conduct such drives on a regular basis for ITI pass-out trainees of different trades.
Ajay Sharma, Assistant Manager (HR), ITC, in his address to the trainees, briefed them about the ITC company profile, about its new unit being established at Bari Brahmana, Jammu, the perks and facilities being given to the selected candidates as per the norms of the company and the procedure being adopted for short listing of the candidates.
Seven trainees of various trades got selected.
Placement Officer, Karan Singh, from Joint Directorate of Skill Development Office Jammu, and other Faculty members were also present on the occasion.
