Pledge ceremony and nukkad natak organized at Government degree college for women, Kathua
KATHUA, September 9: ledge Ceremony was organized on the theme of “Corruption Free India” by NSS Unit, NCC and Shikshit Bharat Club of Government Degree College for Women, Kathua under the supervision of Dr. Savi Behl, Principal of the College, Dr. Arun Dev Singh NSS Programme Officer, Dr. Vaishno Devi (NCC, Incharge) and Ms. Pallavi (Nodal Officer of Shikshit Bharat) on 08.09.2023. Corruption is a pervasive issue that undermines the very fabric of our society, hindering progress, economic growth, and equitable access to resources. Recognizing the urgency of the matter, this Pledge ceremony is organized to raise awareness and garner support for the eradication of corruption.
The Pledge Ceremony was attended by all the faculty members and students of the college. All attendees solemnly pledged to uphold the principles of honesty, integrity, and transparency in all aspects of their lives, and committed to actively oppose and report corruption in any form. On 09-09-2023, in collaboration with the J&K Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages, Sub Office, Kathua, presented a compelling Nukkad Natak on the theme of “Corruption-Free India” organized at GDCW, Kathua.
Corruption remains a significant challenge in our nation’s development, and this unique collaboration aims to harness the power of street theatre to address this critical issue. The Nukkad Natak would serve as a platform to raise awareness, inspire action, and foster a sense of responsibility among citizens. The Nukkad Natak featured engaging stories and scenarios that shed light on the negative impact of corruption on society, emphasizing the need for collective action. A large number of students and faculty members attended the Nukkad Natak.
