JAMMU, September 21: Highlighting the significance of the Women’s Reservation Bill, aiming to fulfil a long-standing demand of increasing women’s participation in politics, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir termed it as a historic legislation brought about by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Former Minister & J&K BJP Vice-President Sham Lal Sharma and former JMC Mayor & J&K BJP Vice-President Chander Mohan Gupta accompanied by Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan BJP Incharge Dil Bahadur Jamwal listened to a number of grievances put forth by visiting individuals and deputations at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Individuals and Deputations of people from various areas of Jammu & Kashmir had reached Trikuta Nagar office to meet these leaders with their grievances. They narrated their woes and sought kind intervention of the party leaders to get their problems solved.

Issues related to the PHE, PDD, road macadamization, revenue, other issues related to the development and personal issues were presented before the senior party leaders.

Senior BJP leaders gave patient hearings to the problems presented by the people, which were immediately taken up with the concerned officials of the departments stressing for early resolution so that the people are not made to suffer.

Chander Mohan Gupta said that the BJP leaders make sincere efforts to sort out the issues presented by the people by taking them up at the appropriate platforms. He added that the public grievances camp is proving to be of major help in solving the day-to-today issues of people of the UT.

Dil Bahadur Jamwal conducted the camp proceedings and said that people in large numbers visit the BJP office to present their issues with a strong belief in the party.
