PMEGP empowering Jammu youth to become entrepreneurs: Sat Sharma

JAMMU, March 18: PMEGP (Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme) is empowering the youth of Jammu to become entrepreneurs, said Sat Sharma and added that the major hurdle to start one’s dream venture to arrange for the necessary finances, has been met by Modi government’s ‘ease of doing business’ and the schemes like PMGEP.

Former president J&K BJP, Sat Sharma (CA) accompanied by J&K BJP media Incharge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Jaideep Sambyal, Yashpal Shivgotra, Krishan Lal Sharma, and others inaugurated a restaurant ‘Frespresso’ in Talab Tillo.

Restaurant owner Anubhav along with family members Dr. Jeet Raj Bajala, Zeeshan, DSP Anubhuti and Manisha Magotra were present on the occasion.

Highlighting the thrust of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to achieve the aim of ‘Viksit Bharat’, Sat Sharma said that the Modi government has successfully encouraged the youth to take the path of ‘Start-Ups’ and chase the dream of entrepreneurship. He said that the schemes like PMEGP have provided financial assistance to self-employment ventures to generate sustainable employment opportunities for unemployed youth. He appreciated the young owner who after pursuing BTech, has chosen to become self-employed and at the same time provided employment opportunities to 3 persons.

Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, stressing on the massive scope of business opportunities in private sector, said that Jammu has got lots of business opportunities to explore including the late night ‘alive markets’ to attract investments and tourists in and around Jammu. Wishing good luck to owner, he added that India is becoming the world’s fastest-growing startup ecosystem with more than 100 Unicorn Startups under visionary leadership of PM Modi.

Restaurant owner Anubhav thanked the former BJP president for inaugurating the restaurant and stated that the Restaurant will provide the best and hygienic recipes to people. He also stated that coffee, and various take away food items are available at the restaurant.

Lokesh Bhagat, Omkar Verma, Bhubesh, Rakesh Sharma, Jitendra Khajuria, Bhanu Sambyal, Bachan Lal, S. Jagdip Singh, Kewal Sharma, Ashish Magotra, Pankaj Gupta and others were among the prominent present on the occasion.
