Police and civil administration crackdown on illegal poppy cultivation in Baramulla

In a concerted effort to curb illegal activities, the police, in collaboration with the civil administration, launched a special drive against the illicit cultivation of poppy plants in the village of Palpora Pattan, Baramulla.

The initiative, which aims to eliminate the roots of narcotic trade in the region, marks a significant step towards maintaining law and order and promoting public health.

A case has been registered against the cultivator at the Pattan Police Station, and an investigation is underway.
