Police apprehend 2 drug smugglers in Baramulla

Baramulla Police succeeded in apprehending two notorious drug smugglers, identified as Ishfaq Khan from Harashnag and Lateef Khan from Khamindarpora.

During a routine naka checking at Drang Crossing Tangmarg, the police also made a significant seizure of approximately 70 grams of a contraband substance resembling Charas. The recovered illicit substance is suspected to be part of the drug consignments that Ishfaq Khan and Lateef Khan were involved in smuggling.

The arrest of these individuals marks a major breakthrough in the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.

The efforts of the police culminated in a successful raid at their respective locations. A case has been registered against the smugglers.
