Police arrest 3 drug peddlers in Tangmarg, Baramulla; seize 130g contraband, 1.3 lakhs cash

In a move aimed at curbing the drug menace in the region, Tangmarg police apprehended three suspected drug peddlers during a routine checkpoint established at Devdragar.

The operation resulted in the seizure of 130 grams of contraband, suspected to be Charas and a considerable sum of cash amounting to 1.3 lakhs.

The police have registered cases against the accused under relevant sections of the law, and an investigation is underway.
