Police arrest drug peddler, seize heroin-like substance in Vijaypur, Samba
Continuing their efforts to curb drug trafficking in the area, Vijaypur Police in Samba apprehended a drug peddler and seized approximately 2.5 grams of heroin-like substance from his possession.

The arrest comes as part of the police department’s ongoing drive against drug smuggling and peddling activities.
Police have registered an FIR No. 64/2024 under section 8/21/22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act against the drug peddler.
Further investigation is underway.
