Police Observer for Reasi inspects strong rooms, holds meeting with SSP Reasi

REASI, SEPTEMBER 05: Police Observer for District Reasi Pradeep Kumar Yadav conducted a thorough inspection of Govt. Polytechnic College, Reasi where the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will be stored after the elections in the strong rooms of AC-57 Reasi and AC-58 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi.


He also held a meeting with SSP Reasi, Gaurav Sikarwar along with other police officers to review security arrangements in Reasi.


The inspection focused on the evaluation of security protocols, CCTVs, secure logistical arrangements at Strong Room.


The aim of inspection was to ensure that all arrangements are in place for the secure storage and management of election materials and to assess the preparedness of the district for the Assembly elections 2024.


He also checked the accommodation provided to security forces and instructed officials to provide adequate facility to them.


During the meeting, Police Observer laid special emphasis on fortifying security measures to safeguard against potential threats to ensure security measures are in place ahead of the upcoming election.


He was accompanied by SSP Reasi Gaurav Sikarwar, DySP Hq Neeraj Padyar, ARO Suresh Singh, and other concerned Officers and officials.
